Securing straight shank tools tightly and accurately has been over a 100 year tradition with Collis.

We have deliberately cut the tolerances allowed by industry standards, and made the bore and outside diameter the most precision surfaces surpassing all competition. We are the only manufacturer that provides an easy entry end on the insertion end of our tools to prevent the two straight surfaces from wedging together. The easy entry aligns the bore and bushing. As the bore enters, the bushing slips into alignment with ease. We have several styles and can modify for metric bores upon request.

B Bushings are used to adapt round shank tools to the hole in any standard turret or tool holder.

Type J



 J Bushings have clearance holes for set screws to grip directly on the flat of the shank type tool holders.

 C Bushings adapt a wide variety of boring bars, drills, reamers, and shank type tools.
